What is education?

Education is an act of bestowing knowledge and instilling discipline. It is a necessary factor that helps build the life goals and heightens the vision of any individual.

Why education is important

Every individual is entitled to knowledge, irrespective of age or status. The world as we know today has become advanced both in technology and personal lifestyle. It is no news that education is essentially required from the early life of any human, but it is such a heartbreaking fact knowing that knowledge has become expensive that only a lesser percentage of the world’s population is lucky to possess it. Rather than for humanity’s sake, education is now regarded as a form of business whereby privately owned, well-equipped schools are only made affordable for the rich while the public ones are built for the less privileged and are poorly equipped and mismanaged.

However, it will be a thing of joy and hope to see our young ones get one of life’s basic requirements to attain a lofty height and achieve nurtured dreams — education. The world will be made a better place if we can get our children off the streets and adorn them with the mantle of knowledge and useful skills. On a final note, education is a weapon used to fight the war of ignorance.
